Directed by Nirvan Mullick The One Second Film started off as a reflection of a perfect moment. Its production brought a school community together on Women's Day, 2001. It is now a foundation focused on bringing social awareness to the community. All profits will go to the Global Fund for Women, a non-profit organization. Harvest Festival / VBS Hosted by the Garden Christian FellowshipVolunteer Design Committee, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 The Harvest Festival is a free and safe annual event for the community in lieu of Halloween. The Design Committee work around a given theme and together they conceptualize the overall look of the event. They are responsible for taking inventory of decorative supplies, brainstorming special effects, organizing and delegating tasks to volunteers, designing props and act as advisors to the construction and painting of all elements within a tight budget and timeline. Vacation Bible School (VBS) is an annual children's summer camp centered around a given theme and lesson plans. The Design Committee is responsible for carrying the given theme throughout the church facility in a creative and consistent manner. They are responsible for taking inventory of decorative supplies, brainstorming special effects, organizing and delegating tasks to volunteers, designing props and act as advisors to the construction and painting of all elements within a tight budget and timeline.
